Variations for vanilla or chocolate cremay desserts

When you do not have much time to cook and you need a dessert, it is easy to choose one of those powders that mixed with milk are transformed into wonderful cramy puddings or mousses. Especially when you can add your personal touch and presentation. No one will be able to tell that those delicious desserts came out of a package in powder form.

Some of these ideas can be used turn a pudding for four  into a dessert for eight or more.

Vanilla and chocolate are the most popular flavors and, as their taste is more natural than others, those are the best ones to choose.

First, prepare the pudding as indicated in the instructions. A package will usually render four servings.

 Coconut and chocolate dessert

Use coconut cream or prepare some coconut pudding. Place some coconut cream in glasses with a short stem. Garnish each one with 1 heaped tablespoon of chocolate pudding. Add some shredded coconut if you wish.

Vanilla and chocolate

Prepare some vanilla pudding or vanilla custard. Place some vanilla cream in glasses with a short stem. Garnish each one with 1 heaped tablespoon of chocolate pudding.

Pears and chocolate

Open 1 lb a can of pears in syrup or juice. Distribute the pears among four glasses with a short stem. For adults, add 1 tablespoon pear liquor or rum to each glass.

Garnish each glass with 1 heaped tablespoon of chocolate pudding.

Chocolate cream with vanilla ice cream

Distribute the chocolate pudding among the glasses.  Place 1 scoop vanilla ice cream on each one. Garnish with cocoa nibs.

Distribute the vanilla pudding among the glasses.  Place 1 scoop chocolate ice cream on each one. Garnish with cocoa nibs.
